It’s ruined and your resale value has taken a HUGE hit.

I think it looks FANTASTIC

Well, it's a little severe for my taste, but frequent polishing is a fools game. Those light scratches are only visible close-up, which is no big deal anyway. My problem is I *like* looking at my watches close up, that's why it would bother me. That's also why I prefer stainless steel, fluted bezels and Julbilee bracelets. I probably have tons of scratches that are barely visible.

But, when all's said and done - watches are made to be worn and enjoyed. Clearly, you're enjoying it and that all that matters. Wear it in good health sir.

Mark

It´s worn in a rotation but very frequently.

When it needs a service I won´t have it polished.

When I´m working on a car or similar I don´t wear a watch at all. I also take it off while running.

I've had mine as a daily wear for 18 months. I decided to lightly Cape Cod it this week and it came up like new. Perhaps PM is easier to clean up? I don't mind scratches, I was just curious how good Cape Cod cloths are. They are brilliant. I love the watch, so much presence.

At arms length I'm sure it looks brand new. When the loop and light come out it's like the surface of the moon.

Did the crown on the clasp fall off somehow? It seems to be missing

The clasp is open on the pic. Don´t worry, the crown is exactly where it belongs.

If I where you, I would buy some Cape Cod polish, and polish away some of that PM, it will make it look almost new again
