Random PM from members...

Does anyone else get random PM from members pointing you to “their” AD and tell them that John Smith sent you...?

To help reduce the population of PM scammers, save the PM and fwd it to a Mod.

Sometimes it’s a hacked TRF account that was previously legitimate and the owner doesn’t know. Other times it is a full-on fraud where the scammer set up many accounts and made some inane posts before sending the PMs.

The Mods can’t see this activity so if you don’t report it then it will continue.

Just click the red triangle in the top right corner of the PM window to report.

Ok. Seen it. I don't think that's a scam PM, just a recommendation from a legit member. Just ignore it, or put him on ignore list.

Sounds good, thanks for checking it. Just a little odd, I did mention I was looking for a watch for my wife so maybe they were just trying to help.

Yes, I guess so. No harm in checking anyway.
