Icon5 233 or 270…. IDK

Like both. Like the extended PR of each. Like the AM/PM indicator on each. Just in a quandary on which to add to my collection

Any comments or insights are appreciated

It comes down to 1 determining factor. Do you want manual or automatic? Aside from that, they are both pretty much the same thing.

I’d personally go for the 233 as it’s a manual with 8 days PR.

The sole reason why I chose the 335 over the 233 or even the 270 is because the 233 was snapped very quickly and also I wanted a ceramic watch with all the same functions.

Best of luck with the hunt!

The 270 is thicker than the 233. I can't find the photos I took when comparing the two, but there was quite a difference.

I personally went with the 233 since I like winding the watch once a week and wanted a dot dial.

Panerai and manual wind just sort of go together… I’ll take the 233

The 233 for me. I waited a long time to get one but am enjoying it now. I prefer the dot dial.

The 270 is noticeably chunkier (to accommodate the rotor..) and a bit more top-heavy than the 233, as a result.

233… by far my favorite watch. I wear it the most, more than any current Rolex that I own.

I think the 233 is the one Slightly thinner than the 270 and has very similar aesthetics Looking forward to playing in the strap game again
