You are both very welcome guys :)

Someone on the reserve list just pulled out, so there is 1 left I can still allocate, and I am also awaiting a couple more to pay CW.

Then after that even the reserve list will be closed.

There aren't any left to allocate I'm afraid. Every watch has also been paid for.

Hey Jas, is it true CW is having production issues and everything is delayed?

Icon1 reserve list for the Bel Canto Phoenix

I don't work for CW, but I am aware that demand is so high that they are struggling to keep up. That seems to be the case for many models, especially new releases.

I've been waiting for my Twelve for a long time too now.

As an aside, I am still receiving requests to go on the reserve list for the Bel Canto Phoenix. The watch fully sold out long ago, and there is a long list so please understand there is an extremely remote chance of getting one now. I don't think anyone will cancel now.

I will mention that I am releasing a new collaboration in a week that I have been working on for over 2 months now. So that's an opportunity for those who missed out.

It will be only 49 pieces though globally, and is not based on Bel Canto - before anyone asks

I will release it to McLaren owners first though, as with the Phoenix.

So for those who purchased the Phoenix Bel Canto, originally you said roughly March 2024 delivery but you think it might be around New Years. Now with production issues do you think that March release will be pushed back further to like summer 2024?

I have had no indication the Phoenix is going to be pushed back. But I will have a much clearer view of it in mid September.

It was promised for April 2024, although I thought (and still do) that it will arrive sooner.

Not sure how to PM you but I have ordered the Twelve and Bel Canto in purple and this orange is amazing. Any chance to get on that list appreciated. Thank you.

Exciting! Can’t wait to see what the new collaboration is going to be since I missed the Bel Canto boat lol.

It's finally ready today - sorry for the delay, but it had to be perfect.

It will be uploaded to the McLaren 765LT group today, to give those guys first opportunity.

I will then open it up to fellow TRF members, if any remain

I have done so, but please be aware that the chance of a Bel Canto Phoenix is extremely remote now. All were reserved long ago and also paid for. And there is already a wait list for any cancellations.

Hi,

I did post it last night on the 765LT section on McLaren Life.

I need to give those guys first opportunity.

Then secondly, to the buyers of the Bel Canto Phoenix.

After that, if any remain, I will open the list to anyone else. Starting with TRF.

I will start a separate thread, to make it easier :)

Update

I had an update meeting with CW yesterday.

The Bel Canto Phoenix is unfortunately also delayed now.

Specifically, the sample dial, hands, beak etc will now only arrive in mid September.

The delivery of the watch to us is now expected to be in "early 2024".

Jan 1st will be fine for me :) Let it be at the afternoon, I don't want to urge them... and mostly to wake up to early on New Year's morning.

I will let them know we are reading "early 2024" as 1 Jan

In reality, expect Feb I guess.

Icon1 Update

All those with an allocation should have received a detailed update email from me a few minutes ago.

Please check your junk mail if you have not seen it

In summary, I have a full working and finished Bel Canto Phoenix PROTOTYPE.

This is the final stage before changes, and going into production. Deliveries of our production watches will be in 2024 as previously stated.

[P.S. as the mods deleted the VULCAN XII thread, please note there are none left to allocate, so anyone now requesting one will go on a reserve list in case of any cancellations. Everyone has now paid, so it's unlikely though.]

1) Thanks for the update
2) “ I need the Phoenix to look superior to the current best looking (Azzurro) Bel Canto in ALL light conditions” haha that was awesome! Nothing but perfection! Love it.

3) Why did the Vulcan thread get deleted?
4) Are you able to show us a photo of the prototype just for curiosity purposes?

2) I feel a responsibility to all those who got an allocation, so want the watch to be as perfect as possible, within dial manufacturing constraints at Armin Strom.

3) I was never told. No explanation or message from the Admin who did it. It just means I won't start a thread on TRF for my next Bespoke project in 2024.

4) I wish I could. It was the first thing I asked CW, but I was told "not yet". I've been wearing the prototype daily and have taken a lot of pics of it, but I just can't share them - yet.
