I must say out of all the 'check this 1680 red' threads that have started here in recent years, that ended in disappointment or misrepresented or jumping the gun before advices etc :

OP you have bought a really nice honest example with a tasteful overhaul to the case and new crystal after asking here for advice first:

this is as sucessful as it gets on HOW to buy your first vintage !

Is it bad that I am already looking for my next vintage purchase?

Mr Filipao has talked me into looking at SDs (even though I worry that my wrists are on the smaller size). I am leaning towards something with a tropical dial.
