Well some of my collection. I prefer all black dials and SS bands. As you can see from my signature. As I stated prior my only knock is the pcls. I wonder if the band from a Exp I, 214270, will fit the Milgauss? I think that would look great personally.

Yea I was in the same situation as you before. However, I purchased a Milgauss GV and I'm absolutely in love with it. It's really a tough, tough choice. But overall, I think the Milgauss is much more unique (Design, Engineering). I remember when it first came out, there was a shortage supply and some ppl paid double the MSRP. Anyway, my next watch will be the Sub. Good luck and CHOOSE WISELY. :)

I had the same dilemma a while back (but with the white milgauss)
I ended up getting the sub first and the milgauss a year later and love both but I would definitely go for the sub first |

I too was considering the GV or SubC, I went with the sub. The downside is that the Sub is very common, where as Millgaus GV is very unique. I don't like to flip watches so I'll just have to save a little and get the GV soon.

Although I love the GV, I would definitely go with the subC. They are both fantastic watches but if you can only have one right now, I think the ruggedness of the sub is a better every day watch. The GV is a little to dressy for a everyday watch IMHO.
But ultimately, you have to get what YOU like best. Goodluck |

I have the GV.. I would not flip the No Date SUBC for one. That's a bad move.

Well after much thought I have decided to go with the majority and KEEP my SubC. Thanks to everyone who weighed in. The SubC for the Milgauss isn't the play. Maybe something else for the Milgauss other than the SubC.

Great choice. I don't think you would have been happy if you got rid of your sub. Just save up and get the GV later on and have both.

I really like the idea of the Milgauss. Especially the GV with the slightly more unique look esp with the green glass. But every time I thought about getting one, the clasp put me off.
The new Sub C ND, is nice, the glidelock is hands down one of the selling points along with the clean ND face Depends what you will use the watch for.. the Milgauss GV is more dressy, where as the Sub C ND is more functional.. |

The SubC ND is a very nice watch and you should definitely keep it for a little while longer at least. If not for the sake of getting rid of an excellent timepiece, then for the sake of not losing too much money when you sell it. They're definitely not selling for as much as they did a couple months ago. I saw the link you put up of swish77's 114060 for sale. And if it was one of David's first Sub C ND's for sale, wasn't that thing like over $8000? That's gotta hurt a little when you can't sell it Mint for over $6,500-$6,600 these days. (If you're lucky)
Good choice keepin it. One of my favorite Rolex's... |

To go with the Milgauss and lose the Sub's functional bezel? That would be a tough one to live with, but just my 2cents.
