All Red small arrow GMT find!!
I just purchased a large batch of hands and as I'm sorting them out I see an all red small arrow GMT hand. I've never seen one in person but this one looks old and it's solid red.

I have seen the small 24-hour hand completely red before but they are not very common.

My 1961 GMT has the all red hand. Your hand is interesting, because it has the base painted, as well as the rest of the hand.

All the posted photos of watches with the "all red" small hand show the base ring unpainted; yours has the base ring painted red too...

The guy I purchased this lot from worked for Rolex for 30 years, I asked him about it and didn't even realize there was a difference. He said he's had this batch for about 25 years. It looks right even tho I see the base painted as well. Josh |
