Let's see those 1625s!

I've been in a rut the last year or so switching between a 1603 and a 16570. Love those two but it's getting a little boring so I stuck my hand into the bag of little green pouches and this came out.

It's a 1968 TT 1625 that I got, freshly serviced, in 2014. It was a bargain because at an RSC service in 2006 it got a new factory mid-case. In years past a service case has been a negative but how many more brand new 1625 cases exist? The idea of a brand new 1968 watch was alluring, an actual unpolished DJ! :)

Anyway, it is a beautiful example.

Richard,
Where do you get your TT endlinks? I'd love to get a pair for my 1625

Beautiful 1625! I got them from GeorgeYeo on ebay, I think he posts here as Smarty Jones. His are high quality with 18k plating. I saw a pair on ebay now that are not the quality of George's and not real gold either, be careful.

Gorgeous 1625s guys, congrats.
I’ve seen 6609s but they are grossly overpriced.

My grail is 6202.
