Suggestion for first Rolex?
Hello,
I am considering purchasing my first Rolex. I have a small wrist and most of the Rolex watches I have seen over the years are very large. Any suggestions for one with a smaller wrist? Thank you, John |

I've just bought my very first Rolex & it's a GMT 2 C. I've wanted it for a while.
I would suggest you goto a few AD & try on as many as you can. Then you will know its not a rushed purchase & it's the one you really want. Good luck.

SubC will fit just fine. I have small wrists as well, you should have no problem.

Sub C should be in everyone's collection, so that would be my first.

Agree, or the predecessor Sub 16610 will have a smaller feel. Both are bullet proof and hold their value well.

I agree with the subC but as others have said, go to an AD and try them all on and see what feels best to you

I agree, go try some on and the answer will be clear. Or at least narrowed down between a couple. :)

Unless you have smaller wrists than female models, 40mm will be just fine.
Much easer to adapt to larger watches...rarely do ppl have a bigger watch and wish they gone smaller later on. |

The AirKing is a great first Rolex. Something you can keep, pass on to the next generation, and enjoy. Made in honor of the RAF pilots who fought in the Battle of Britain. Also, the AK is the longest continually produced Rolex, beating out the DateJust by a little less than a year

Depends on whether you want something sporty or dressy (or both)
Perhaps start with Sub, GMT and Datejust, and take it from there...

If you feel the sports models are too big, go with anything in 36MM. Datejust, Explorer, etc.
