Calling all bezel experts!
I have been interested for years in the 1501 model but I always had that feeling that it was a tad to small for me...now I found this! Callng all experts; what kinda bezel is this that acually works well with a larger DJ 1601 case...

Interesting. That bezel is available on the 34mm Date but I've never seen one in 36mm before. I would guess it's aftermarket but it looks good on that bezeless 1625. Nice temp to use while you source an original TOG bezel.

Both the 1500 and 1625 share the same crystal ref #117, so the inner diameters are the same so this particular bezel fits, but its a bit small (outer diameter) for the 1625 DJ case.
By the way, the DJ 16xx dial is a tad bit larger than the 1625 DJ. The 1601 uses crystal #118, which is a bit larger than the #117. |

And, if you ever give thought to finding an original 1625 bezel, I can tell you from experience that it's nearly impossible! I purchased and early 1625 years ago and fortunately got lucky with a bezel from Howard Frum in Chicago that he unearthed in his archives!

I have a similar bezel on a 6425, which is a 36mm case, but I am not sure what crystal that watch takes. Missing 1625 bezels are always an issue, many more cases available than bezels.

Yes it will as both ref #6424 and #6425 use tropic T21. And you can put the T21 on the DJ 16xx if you don't like the cyclope look. In fact, a lot of us here put the T21 on out 16xx DJ.

So 1501 bezel also works with T-21? Not only the #117 crystal?
