Speedmaster

I’m thinking about buying a new Speedmaster 42mm hesalite from an AD. Before walking in and negotiate the price, I just want to know what is the usual discount that people normally get for the watch?

I could not get much better than 18% off here in the north east and so ended up going grey market with warranty cards. Could not justify having the same watch but paying 600.00 more. The way I figured I could but like 5 omega nato straps with that difference!

If you're open to it, try Takuya, he sourced me one from an AD at a substantial discount, my name and date I bought it on the warranty. Couldn't be happier with it.

I went with Jomashop for my Hesalite SpeedMaster. 37% discount - no tax - free shipping. Then spent another $80 and added a Sapphire caseback ... :)

Curious why you bastardized the watch. Why not just get the Sapphire one?

Because he wanted the warm hesalite with the display case back. I thought the same way when I bought my Speedy.

Originally bought the sapphire sandwich on bracelet from jomashop for $3900. Didn’t like the white ring around the dial due to the sapphire, so I sold it for $3200.

Then I just got the hesliate on bracelet from an aD for $3300 (35%), couldn’t be happier.

I did the same. Shipped directly overnight from the dealer with my name on the card. Wearing it as I type. Takuya is awesome.

Takuya, DavidSW and quite a few other TS's here can help with pretty substantial discounts as many have mentioned above.. I'd buy from one of them. Good Luck!

That is exactly why ... wanted Hesalite not Sapphire ... and Omega no longer offers the Hesalite/Sapphire model. Not sure why .. I bet it would become their number one Speedmaster Pro in sales if they brought it back.
