Yes, the Jura has a Burr grinder I believe so your all set. If you get crazy into the specifics of your coffee you may evolve into a butt grinder with many grind settings. Pulling a good espresso is based upon surface area and pressure so the grind that produces that surface area is key. As long as it’s a burr gtinder and freshly ground your set. You will love your new machine!

Thinking about the J6 factory reconditioned...

Quick question does anyone have any experience with factory reconditioned Juras?

The prices seem pretty reasonable on that model, plus you’ll be able to negotiate a bit of discount if you buy it from one of the major stores.

Don’t think I’d have a problem if it came with a full warranty. There would need to be a significant savings vs new though.

Got the A9 at costco, figure if I don't like it or it gives me trouble, I'll just return it.

We (so far) are very impressed with the Miele. So much so we ordered one for our son and DIL for Christmas. Our son is quite picky about his coffee and is also happy with the coffees it makes, at least so far.
This thread has cost me over $4400, so thanks for that...

Yes they have a million of models.

We have a j90 and love it.
Had delonghi before and manu krups non automatic ones.

I was ready for a one touch. One touch ftw!
That being said I wish j90 could do a double latte or cappuccino on one touch.
A double is two touches!! Lol

A number of years ago, I bought a refurb’d Z5 (I think) direct from Jura UK. Like many of the reviews online/Amazon, the brewed latte/cappuccino output was only warm.
Jura were grand, and took it back for a refund, and I bought a pre-owned WMF instead. Far hotter output, as per the reviews on Amazon, and plenty of settings to tinker with to optimise flavour.

Both the WMF 800 and the WMF 1000.
900 seems to have replaced the 800 with quick cup warm-up feature that was on the 1000 Pro.
Not sure what the US imports, as back then, the 800 wasn’t an official UK import — thank God for eBay.de and an accommodating seller!

You won't be returning this one any time soon.

I just got it in. My littlest was as excited as I was to set it up. He loves the touchscreen.

Fantastic.

Thanks everyone for their input!

Back to Jura... my E8 is only a couple of years old however my dad has had his for as long as I can remember with zero issues.

I have two Miele vacuums. One is over ten years old, the other about 8. My kids vacuum with one, which means it's been down the flight of stairs more than once. No problem. Flawless performance, indestructible, will never buy anything else but Miele.

I have since bought a Miele CM5 and it has been fantastic over the past 6 months. Literally kept us running with a new kid in the family. I highly recommend it.

I have Gaggia Brera Super Automatic Espresso Machine at home and I'm pretty happy with it. As I know, it's not really expensive, but it does its work nice. Anyway, I may say Gaggia is a pretty popular option of coffee machines. You may try it. You may visit coffee-statistics.com, there are many reviews on machines and coffee itself.

I own the Jura Z6. Absolutely magnificent. Makes quick and very delicious espressos as well as a large list of other popular milk and non milk based coffees.
