Speedmaster in Japan
What is the MSRP in Japan for a hesalite Speedmaster Professional 311.30.42.30.01.005 on a metal bracelet?
I flew through Narita a few weeks ago and I believe they quoted 519,000 yen. They were offering a ten percent discount at the time. Does this price include VAT or is this a duty free price? At the current exchange rates this is a decent saving off of the MSRP in the US. Not as good as the gray market, but it would be purchasing from an AD. Thanks! |

If you're in Tokyo and you want to save some serious Yen, then head out to see the grey market dealers in Nakano such as Jack Road. They are a short distance from the train station.

Thanks! I hope to make it out of Narita one day, but this time I’m limited to a two hour layover :(

Jackroad have some very nice vintage Rolexes, not sure about their Omega selection.
I'm very happy with my moonwatch which came from Japan - unbelievable condition for a 30 year old watch. Seems like the Japanese really take care of their things :) |
