Panerai Pam 190 JLC 8 Day

Is it the Black, Sandwich dial, L-Dial Accented by gorgeous gold hands and sub seconds displayed at 9 o'clock

Or is it the 8 day JLC Movement 45 mm, one of the finest movements put into any Panerai watch.

Is it that you can see through the exhibition case back the 8 day indicator!

Is any watch is better looking!

An 8 day, hand wound JLC movement is used in the PAM190, and it winds up like butter. It features 13¼ lignes, 33 jewels, Côtes de Geneve decoration, bridge with indication of power reserve, burnished blued screws, balance spring adjusted by micrometer screw, swan-neck regulator, double spring barrel, 28,800 alternations/hour, and of course a power reserve of 8 days.

Panerai 190 was launched in 2004 and ceased production in 2006.

Only 2050 were made. - With the JLC Addition securing it place in Panerai history forever

Rare, Desirable, Top of any Paneristi's list & In My Humble Opinion Perfect in every way

Normally don't like simple faces but that is something else And the sapphire case back always gets me
So JLC supplied the movement for this watch? I'm sold

Me too!!!! I mean, I miss yours Bryan!

I wish I had the money to buy it and knew it was for sale.

The 190 is one of the 4 I'm considering next. It is also the most expensive one that I'm considering right now. *sigh*

Yeah the only downside is that you only get to do it every 8-10 days!!!!

Just a curious Q. Can't you wind it midway thru the power reserve?

You can but it just feels so good to sit down once every 8 days and smoothly and slowly wind her up. Very satisfying, its an event rather than a neccesity. Winding a watch regularly doesnt have the same effect.
Call me sad but ask anyone who has the 8 day
