Hulk does +5s/day

Hi all,

Hulk is not my first Rlx but makes biggest difference from all modern ones I ever had.

Would you ask AD to regulate it or is better keep it unopened and don't care? My LVc is one year old, under warranty of course.

you can actually do simple regulating to lose a few seconds at night when you take off your watch or when not in use:
lay the watch vertically with the winding button facing downwards...

Leave it alone. Hardly an issue. If it's new it will likely settle in.
Also as Padi always says...."Make sure you have wound it 40 full turns....". If operating at the end of it's winding cycle it will run fast.
To me as long as my watch isn't loosing time or dramatically(+10 secs) gaining then I'm happy.
Besides, you'll be early throughout your day.

I will disagree with everybody else...

I will not have a watch that runs 5 seconds off.. I don't care what COSC or anybody else says. COSC criteria, by the way, is only the testing paramaters and has nothing to do with the true precision of any watch..

Also, opening the caseback for regulation is a simple process and done all the time.. There is no magic or anything else that falls out of the watch if it is opened..

Do yourself and your watch a favor and have it regulated.. Both of you will look and feel better..

Yes, I will ask for regulation. I hope that warranty will cover this.

Hmmm, not sure what I'd do with +5. I understand your dilema. Most likley I'd have it done if you can't self regulate it. Let us know how you make out.

I self-regulate my old Datejust to near atomic clock accuracy by letting it rest with the winding crown facing up. If that slows it down too much, letting it rest with the crystal facing up usually balances it out. I'd say about once a week it needs to be crystal up, the rest of the week, crown up. Try it, it really does work. However, yours is under warranty so you shouldn't have to mess with it.
