I'm totally with you. It's just a lot more special than the current line up. How often do you see 5512's or 1665's in the wild? Hardly ever! I just ran into a guy at shoprite who was in line in front of me wearing a late 60's early 70's 5512 I commented on what a great piece it was and the gentleman told me his wife bought it for him for his college graduation. I asked if he would ever consider selling it? He said someone offered him $1500 and he thought that was fair but was afraid his wife would shoot him! Haha! He had no idea what he had on his wrist, value wise or collectibility wise. Unreal! Anyway thanks for reading my ramble!

The white dial 6542, as far as I'm concerned, isn't original. Quite a few folks around here believe them to be fakes. A heated debate for sure

Ugh....I hate it when I get an itch....'cause no matter how much I try and ignore it, I gotta scratch it! Sometimes when you scratch it though, it turns red and blue and your happy you did!

That is a beautiful watch...you should have one from your birth year. That makes sense! :)

x2

Why the nerves Mark? Enjoy the thrill of the chase.

It's going to be one sweet "get" when you find it.
