1680 red but no dial i dont know

This one Rolex Sub 1680 red I think to buy but has no dial and no bezel. Is case ok? How much can proper dial and bezel cost for this one? Is it ok?http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...mtid=824&kw=lg

the case has seen a lot of polish..

you need the serial number of the case to determine if it left the rolex factory with a red dial..

It's nothing special from what I see.. can be used for parts.

It's not easy or cheap to find a red dial and even harder to find a matching handset to the dial..

In the end you will spend more and end up with a franken watch

hold out for an original piece.

Interesting that THE most important piece of information for this listing is glaringly absent: the serial number. Without that you can't determine whether this should indeed be a red Sub. I wouldn't even evaluate anything else until I got that info. Tons of photos, but not one showing the serial between the lugs. Hmmmmm .....
