Want to know more about rolex tru date model ref 6534 with cal 1035

WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ROLEX TRU DATE MODEL REF 6534 WITH CAL 1035
WANT TO KNOW:
1) ITS HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT
2) DOES IT CHANGE THE DATE LIKE DATEJUST MODEL?
3) ANY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN 6534 AND DATEJUST?

I don't have a 6534 but they are very nice. This is the smaller, 34mm oyster case. The Datejust has a 36mm case.

I have one but don't know any sort of history behind. They do change dates automatically but not a quick set.
