I've debated and debated on this brand and I've come THIS close to pulling the trigger ... something keeps holding me back though.
I'd love to see a FF5015 1130-71 (bracelet), maybe then I'd bite |

I also can't wait for Basel. I'm really hoping they knock it out of the park.

After reading all the multiple reviews online and ownership experience stories, my gut feel is you're going to love it as I'm going to find out myself in the next couple of days. So do yourself a favour, and don't deny yourself.

Love the Blancpain FF (45mm) as I like better then hand design.
Does anyone know if the Hands are white gold? |

I picked up my first 40mm BP FF - Trilogy. Wow! That's the word I will use. The size, quality, the finish. In fact, everything about the watch amazed me!
I am first and foremost a Rolex fan, and wear lots of Rolex GMTs, Subs etc. But this BP FF changed me now. I am waiting to size the bracelet at Blancpain, and I'll have wrist shots later for sure.

Thanks. The bezel is awesome and the first thing that jumped out at me when I opened the box. And turning it felt so solid and precise. The build quality is definitely tops even though this is older generation FF.

I compared it with my 5-digit Sub, and the FF felt and wore quite similar in terms of size. So my impression is if you love the 5-digit Sub and feel comfortable with the size which obviously I am, then the 40mm FF will work great for you.

I feel as though 40mm FFs wear traditional, and modern 40/41mm sport watches (maxi case subs and ROs) kind of wear large. Since this is the current trend, people tend to think the 40mm FFs wear "small" in comparison.

Being surrounded by all the maxi case Rolex, jumbo size RO and the new SMP, the 40mm FF definitely feels like a breath of fresh air when I put it on my wrist. I think BP got it right when they designated the 40mm for Limited run models. But like you said, I think they should do a 42mm for the normal production Diver models. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The Fifty Fathoms is easily one of my favourites!
I’m trying hard to find a vintage No Rad and I would also love a modern or vintage MIL-SPEC but these puppies are hard to find.

This will be released in mid May, when media are allowed to cover what retailers just saw. Correct?

Maybe that’s the case, that would be annoying haha I want to know what we are looking at. I only know there’s three new Limited FF coming. Two sound intriguing to me.

I’m not expecting it to be blue. I only got verbal descriptions as no photos allowed.

Thanks. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I am definitely excited as the FF in 40MM is tough to beat.

I sure wish they'd do a 42...these things wear a bit smaller than their size, on me the 40 would be a tad bit too small.

I traded my Sea Dweller in for a 500 Fathoms GMT and so happy I made the move. The Blancpain really is a tangible step up from the SD though I wish there was a matching titanium bracelet option. The case design wears small, the 48mm is easier to wear than my 46mm Big Pilot, the 45mm standard wears almost like a 42mm from other brands....

I tend to agree but I’ll take what I can get. I don’t mind the Daytona so I figure I won’t mind the size of the 40.
