Incoming: Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Calendar

Hello everyone! Just received this beauty a few days ago on "Happy Lunar New Year". I must say is more than words can express. I love it. Now I know why they say Jaeger LeCoultre described as the "watchmakers watch". Let's enjoy and see other JLC Reverso. Thanks for looking.

Looks great! I enjoy mine. I feel like a polo playin’ Art Deco aristocrat when I wear my Reverso Duo. Picture to follow!

Congrats !

The Reverso is a required icon for a good base collection.
I’ve heard “Patek quality at a Rolex price”

Congratulations! That's among my favorite Reversos and it's a healthy size as well. These days especially, I agree that JLC is Patek quality at Rolex prices.

Is it a pain to set the calendar on the OP’s watch? I imagine you use a pin or implement to push a button.

Yes, it's just like every other calendar watch. I just use a toothpick at home or at the office.

Thanks, I thought so. Had a JLC MUT Moon that worked that way.

Congrats! Man, I would wear the watch "wrong side up" at least 50% of the time :D

OP's watch is an absolute stunner. I want one, but I believe at this point (early 2019), the watch has been discontinued by JLC. Is that correct? I have seen one listed, without box and papers, for $7.5K used asking price. I have only seen it online and it was quoted as "lightly worn". Is this too high? I believe this piece originally went for $12K retail. I would love to get this new, but think used is the only way to go due to this model being discontinued. Correct me if I'm wrong.

How would this watch compare against the Blancpain Villeret Moonphase & Complete Calendar 40mm 6654-1127-55b? Pretty similar features, but I know totally different brands. I would love to hear pros and cons for anyone familiar with both watches.
