I'd jump all over an OP 39 in Olive.

I wonder if they will unveil the new movement at Basel and the AD's will be supplied with a lot more SS inventory. Maybe the shortage is due to the gap between clearing out pieces with the existing movement and waiting to start parsing out the pieces with the new movement until it is announced in March. One can hope!!

Expecting a new SS black sub on oysterflex.

Not expecting, but wishing for, a platinum Sky-Dweller with ice blue dial!

If Rolex releases an SS Pepsi on Oyster, that would be a kick in the balls to the enthusiasts that purchased the original gold release. I can imagine comparisons of "feel the weight..this is the gold one, albeit less shiny"!

They would have paid more to enjoy a time-limited exclusivity - that's a fair deal to me.

I disagree. Unless Rolex changes the ratio of subs to Daytonas produced, Daytona lists will still be longer. Plus who wants PCLs on a sub?

Nothing beats the jubilee. If they release a coke with a jubilee, I would even go to the gray market. Can’t believe I just admitted that.

I'm going to go with a more conservative looking Milgauss with a cyclops. It's going to have a unique movement, with technology that no other company has, and be extremely anti-magnetic. They've been as liberal as they have ever been with their Milgauss design choices in recent times and it hasn't been a big seller.

The Milgauss has the potential to be a big seller as anti-magnetism is a practical feature.

But the newer movements are much less prone to magnetisation thanks to the Parachrom hairspring and the likes. So the Milgauss will still struggle to get relevance to the average customer.

My Current high probability:
YM1 update with 3235 (return of the platinum dial)

Milgauss update with 3230 (update with silicone balance spring. New faraday cage that equals Omega's movement based tech)

DateJust 36 update with 3235 (will be technically more difficult than given credit with new movement dimensions)

Cellini Chronograph, 4130 based

My low probability, wishes:
SS Coke distributed in attainable numbers
BLNR update
Sky D SS strap option at slightly lower price point and attainable production numbers
Cellini Split Seconds Chronograph

Just no way a Submariner/Date update happens before YM1, Explorer 2, and Milgauss updates unless Rolex limits the Submariner to Daytona numbers, which is bad for everyone.

Wouldn't inclusion of the faraday cage make it a 3231 movement? A 3230 would be a no-date base.

The Datejust 36 in two tone was updated with the new movement last year
