A "Thank you" to Launch Mini

Today John's Panerai 210 is on it's way back home after spending a little time in Eastern Canada. I wanted to thank John for allowing me to give this watch a try, and IMO the gesture shows the true passion that the Panerai brand and community are known for.

Although in the end I decided that the watch wasn't for me, it was certainly a great watch for casual wear, but just a bit too big for my tastes, and not high enough up on my list to purchase at this time. I do have the feeling that a Panerai of some sort will be part of my collection in the future.

Thanks for everything, John!

It is definitely a great gesture. I also agree, the best way to see if you are interested in wearing a watch is to test drive one. What better way than that?
I am using the Alpha Radiomir that I bought on the last group process to see if I would be interested in a Panerai. I really like it, and will definitely consider getting a Panerai in the future.

Very typical of John, great show pal.

Al, for a watch that size, it is very comfortable isn't it?

Awesome one John, you are definitely a risti thru and thru

The panerai community is amazing really.... I am about to have a simliar loan too what Avalon had from John.

Mines from a Melbournian Panaristi - he's loaning me his PAM 111 for a few weeks, in fact he's trying to convince me to go for a 44mm afterall! So for me this is the perfect opportunity to see how I feel about the watch. Thanks buddy if you are out there!!

Very nice of John to share the passion of Panerai. I'm not surprised thought as John offered to ship me one of his Pannies about a month before the GTG I organized, just to try a different watch out.

I thanked him but declined as I feared it would never make the trip back out west.

Gotta love the OP community.

It was very comfortable for it's size.

BTW, now I know what you feel like when you buy watches - have it for a month and then it's gone!

What a fantastic gesture guys!

The whole watch community seems to be a fantastic thing.

I don't know how you resisted Al, looking at pictures just seems to do it for me .

I can tell you it wasn't easy my friend. I spent a good amount of time debating if I should purchase it or not!

I bet!
I think it's a great dress watch, it's a little different, and also bigger, for those of use who prefer that. And, I do love a sandwich dial.

It arrived at the office today, but I was missing in action today.
Some sort of bug has attacked me & knocked me down pretty hard.
A client called, absolutely needs some work done by me tomorrow, so I drove to the office after hours to pick up his files & the box.
Drive dang near killed me. Longest I was out of bed/couch in 28 hours.
Hey, I feel really bad now.
When I open the box, the watch was in better shape than when I shipped it to Al
CSI Toronto or Vancouver would be hard pressed to find any signs of wear or fingerprints on it
Your very welcome & thank you for the "keep me warm" items. However, in my state right now, I will NOT be trying those spices for a few days.
Just thinking about them doubled me over in pain

You are very welcome! I hope that the toque will keep you warm when you have the chills. If I had known about the sickness, I would have sent some Pepto instead of hot sauce!

Get well soon!

So you send a guy who's having trouble keeping bodily fluids 'in', some hot sauce? You are pure evil.
