You're welcome jclark!

Day two of wearing the amazingly beautiful TT Datejust. Love the blue dial.

Off at lunch today to get those extra links out.

Just back from the jeweler - had the bracelet adjusted to fit much better. Turns out all he had to do was scoot the pin a few notches over in the clasp. Fits great. Thanks to everyone for their kind words. Glad I'm here AND lucky to own a Rolex!

Enjoy it Trip. I see a sport watch in your future. GMT or Sub. I've got a GMT, but I'm dying for a Sub or Daytona.

A mega congrats on your recently acquired 'dream'...and the 'traditional' unveiling when arrived.
I know how you feel...and felt the same way when I acquired mine....
Almost - Orgasmic...IMO....
Pics tell most, but the feeling is somewhat unexplainable....!!
Enjoy it my friend...as most of us do!!

Well lightning does strike twice as many of you warned me. My second Rolex just showed up in the mail today (one year later) - a 1979 TT 5501 Air King in superb condition!

Actually, I bought her her own Rolex about 9 months ago - a vintage square- faced ladies model from the late 30's I believe. She loves it!

I too was almost 50 before my first Rolex (also like you, so many other things to take care of first) bought my second within a year!

Here's a picture of my "new" 5501 Air King. Please forgive the professional photo - it's from the ad that listed the watch. The watch face is actually is a little less white than this picture would imply. Other than that, it's spot on. I also like having a leather strap on this one - nice change from the Jubilee on my Oyster DateJust.
