x2.
Pull it up your arm where it should be imo and take another pix.
I think it will look ok.

I think it looks just right. but as the others have rightly pointed out, it depends on what YOU think... In my case, I have a relatively smaller wrist, around 6.75", but I think my DJ2 fits well. enjoy that beautiful watch of yours

A beautiful watch but it does look a little too big.

Whatever makes you happy!

If I were wearing the DD, I would think it would be too large, but who cares...

You know to me it's on the big side and I wouldn't do it. But if you like it go for it.

The "classic" Rolex size is 40mm, which almost anyone can wear comfortably and which will look good on almost anyone. You look fine with that one "extra" millimeter! I have small wrists but am comfortable with my Subc at 40, but also with a 42mm Anonimo.

So my advice to the OP would be to spend a bit more time viewing it from that distance, as most people won't be viewing it with their face oriened 5" away from your wrist.
He has a valid point. 36mm watches always look better in wrist shots than 41mm. Take a look at this 42mm watch on my wrist - It looks like a dinner plate in the wrist shot, but zoom out and it looks much smaller in proportion to my forearm.

Advice about appearance -- thanks!

Hey, thanks, everybody, for all the good advice. I'll think about it some more.... and try to post another pic soon, with it a little higher on my wrist; and from a better distance! Those were the most helpful remarks.... appreciate 'em!

If I were you I would downgrade to a 36mm.
If Justin Beiber were you, he would keep it LOL

Totally up to you

Thanks again; a couple more pics

Okay, I know I'm being a little obsessed, but here are a couple more photos taking the advice of a greater distance for the shot; and a little further down the wrist. Thanks again for all the good posts. Rodolfo
