I've always liked the Cylops, it's historic and traditional at this point, but I agree with it being optional for those that find it annoying.

Ironically I need my glasses to read my favourite, the Sea-Dweller, but not with the Submariner/date.

Look... Back in my military days, I had 20/15 vision. Now I'm pushing 20/25, but the arms are having to stretch out to see close in. The cyclops really helps with this. Lots more older folks wearing the Rolex than younger ones. We need the help. ;-) As for you younger guys, you will want the cyclops when you DO get older.

Add to this, the cyclops is part of "the look" IMHO.

I voted for the option. I personally like the cyclops but giving you the option would be the best of both worlds.

The only problem is as of right now I understand the AR is on the crystal under the cyclops so if you opt no cyclops you will have only that area of the crystal with AR, which would be kind of weird. In the pic of the Exp2 I can see what I assume is the AR ring around where the cyclops used to be. It would be more viable if or when they go to an all AR crystal.
