<<< swim ready>>>

Off to Italy on Monday and following the recommendation of my Paneristi friends, I slid into the boutique today to pick up this OEM rubber strap.

Good to go and get wet, (even though I don't swim)

Enjoy. Proof that the 690 looks great on all straps.

Looks much better on the rubber than I imagined.

Next time you're at an OP boutique, check out the new range of rubber straps. They've produced some pretty, um, interesting colours. Here's a particularly rowdy orange on a 1389 that the manager did here for a giggle. I have a feeling they're only for the Submersibles though so be sure to check.

Have a great trip, Brian

At least you put yours on the right way round! They're amazing straps and so comfortable.

Thanks Paul, I'm surprised too st how good it looks

That's a very cool strap indeed ... I can see why with Panerai "strap madness" will happen

Pics to follow from the trip

Thank you my friend, it's getting a lot of love here.

The sales person at the boutique hadn't seen one in the metal, and asked me if she could handle it... It was hard to get it back from her

The rubber strap looks good. I think almost anything on the 690 will work. Great watch.

I knew that would look as good as it does, rubber for Panerai is like pasta in Italy....made for each other! Don't forget to try and order porcini mushrooms with pasta or risotto if you see it in the menu somewhere. It's the season and it taste like nothing you have ever had. Limoncello is also incredible where you are going. Have fun!
