Gorgeous piece, congrats!!

It's interesting: to me it looks like the diameter of the bezel relative to the dial is smaller on this model, compared with the 45mm version. Bezel looks a bit less chunky relatively speaking to my eyes.

Really? Mine hacks, did they switch to a different movement for this one?

Smaller one has movement 1151 which is different than the 45s. Of course, now you have me scurrying around the dark web to see if 1151 hacks

Although I don't have the facts at hand, it seems very odd that Blancpain would stick a non-hacking movement in there....

The 1151 does not hack. Of course you can apply slight back pressure to do so if you desire.

Took long enough, but my milspec arrived in the final days of last year.

Mine arrived on the bracelet, but being an utter pain to size i ended up removing the friction pins and fitting apring bars so i could wear it on a strap (beat-up Kaufmann canvas)

Beautiful watch and a great size. It will interesting to see if they keep their value similar to the "50th Anniversary Model".

Anyone change the strap on their milspec to something other than black?
Thinking about really switching things up and going with a bright/fun color like a deep purple.

Well, I felt like really switching things up a bit.

I don't really have a watch with a fun, bold strap and I thought the Milspec would be a great suitor to take on the challenge.

I know this won't be for everyone, but.....

i really like that purple, not sure whether I'd wear it with the Mil Spec, but kudos for making your own swim lane.

But, what good is a hobby if you can't have a good laugh and some fun?
