Clear back on an Automatic?

Can you swap a caseback from say a 111 to a 164? I like the clear caseback, but not sure about the manual wind. Plus the 164 has a date which I like. I know some of the new ones like the 312 have the clear back, but they are also alot more $$ and im not sure on the styling vs. the 164. Has anybody had their AD order and do this?

About 97% sure you cannot. The clear case back would touch the rotor in the automatic movement.

Hi GMT Master II.

No, the clear caseback doesn't touch the rotor.
