Standard black sub. There, I said it. Let the bashings begin. Just can't swing a dead cat in this town without hitting one.

Cellini and Airking, however I think the Airking 34mm looks great on my wife's wrist

Icon6 Evolving....

I would not buy any Rolex that:

Is smaller than 40mm
Has no date
Is 44mm (my DSSD is under 44mm in fact)
Is considered vintage (may make an exception depending on watch and age)
Has diamonds or other precious stones on bezel (exception- factory diamond dial on indices but not encrusted on dial)
SubC date or no date

However, if one of the above was gifted to me I will gladly accept and wear.

If one of the above came in an absolutely no shit low price I might just buy it as a gift for someone special tho will still not buy 44mm, vintage, models with excessive precious stones.

In time I may make exceptions with the 39mm models with no date. Only time will tell, pun intended :D

The new air king...it's awful. Saw it at Basel..almost puked. It's subjective I know, and I'm being a little rude but I will never buy one.

I wouldn't buy anything 36mm and under. I would not mind having 1 of each of all of the other models :)

Edit: forgot the leopard Daytona. Sorry I just cant!

I commented generically, but I notice a lot of newer members starting such threads. It's their prerogative to do so, but we all comment. Not a fan of the negative thread, myself. It certainly doesn't foster a feeling of mutual interest within TRF.

My $.02.

Agree. 100%.

Always better to keep it positive.

This thread topic by design will piss some people off. I can wear any steel Rolex in the lineup I want and have owned most of them over the years. This is my current and it's a fantastic piece. Haters can kiss my bezel.

And try being a member with a current 214270 when the Basel replacement was announced. My model was "fixed". Give me a break!

Can't see myself ever buying a PM Rolex, but only because of funds, and if they weren't an issue I can't honestly think of any model in the line up I wouldn't buy.

There are several I would never buy but I'll not list them so as to not offend anyone. We all have our personal preferences and that's what makes this forum interesting and fun.

The day I buy a yachtmaster is the day I win the lottery and buy my own yacht. I just couldn't pull that watch off, its very cool though.

also, any two tone watches, no desire to own one.

Darn... I got through 87 posts and did not see Day Date.. Until this... It's cool too and does not matter to me in the least...the heart wants what the heart wants, mine screams YG DD

To me the bracelets are what make any model... The rubber straps, however, I cannot fathom... sinking that kind of money and getting rubber, not for me
