I believe this is not about negative or positive, If there is a forum that you should only talk positive or even worse to write only positive things about anything ( in this case watches), this is more like to become o non democratic place, and personally i would not like to be part of this. And there should be no space for such things as new or old members, no one should be pointed because it stared a topic that not everyone found helpfull or positive. This is the basic of a forum, generate talking and friendship, I would sit and have a beer with anyone wearing a yatch-master 2, because he share the same passion about watches that I have, but that does not stop me saying that i do not like the design of his watch and vice versa, is just a matter of taste, and probably we will laugh and enjoy our time discussing our watches. Like or dislike a particular model is not a negative thing, is a opinion. If i did ofended anyone please accept my apologies. My 0.2c

I'm surprised to see the Sky-Dweller on here some. I think it's the most perfect thing I've ever seen in person.

Personally I'm not a fan of diamonds, two-tone, or small watches. They often look good on others but not for me.

I didn't like the YMII for a long time but it's grown on me.

I would have said "never to the YMII" until I started paying more attention to it. The more I researched, the more I liked it. The SS YMII is my favorite Rolex now.

So now, if I had to pick something, it would be Cellini, anything with fluted bezel, the older yachtmasters and daydate.

I find these threads interesting. Would we all sit in a room wearing our respective watches and brazenly trash another persons watch? I highly doubt it. We're all a bit more opinionated behind the anonymity of a keyboard.

Having said that, I still find the opinions to be interesting and like many have said, never say never. I lusted after the DSSD for a long while and never had any real interest in a Daytona. I recently went to an AD set on buying the former and wound up buying the latter. I really liked the DSSD, but kept being drawn back to the Daytona. It took me over an hour to make a final decision.

#2 2. RESPECT THE OPINION AND CHOICES OF OTHERS. Example: If someone puts their Sea Dweller on a Pink and baby blue nato strap, that's their business. Think first .... click the back button on your browser and avoid posting a comment that will insult others and earn yourself infraction points.

In my post i gave my opinion, and the rule is clear - Respect the opinion, that is how it starts.... I did not said anything about someone else watch... Perhaps we have diferent interpretation of the rules... But saying i would not buy a specific model is my opinion, and again should be respected.
