Out of curiosity - ROO 15202 Bezel + polish myth or reality?
Hi -I wonder if anyone had the ROO 15202 bezel replaced.
I know it will get scratched etc with use - but I wonder if you need to replace the bezel - how bad is it cost wise? Is it true that ROO can only be polished 3 times even by AP? Thanks! |

The boutique did mention the 3x (I think) refinishing limit to me for my YG 15202. Each time it is done, metal is removed, so it can't be done very often.

General recommendation is about 3 times from what I've been told; however, that also depends on how deep the scratch was. If it was deep I'm sure that in order to make it perfect again more material may be stripped off.

I know that I will most likely be polishing at service and was curious about a potential bezel replacement in the future. For my 15407or, I was told $1621 for the bezel replacement. That needs to be accompanied by a complete service which starts at $930.

Yes - max 5 times is what I had heard to keep the edges sharp.

Don't forget that sharp egdes is a bit subjective, me for example wouldn't buy one that has been polished more than once. But Im weird, I rather have a scratched up RO/ROO than a shiny polished one.

agree 100%. I would only get a polish if I had a deep gouge and it needed to be laser welded and then lightly polished after. For light surface scratches its not worth polishing.
