It's an overpolished re-dialed POS, so you should drop out immediately and hope that you don't win the auction. And I would avoid this seller in general unless you are incredibly confident in your ability to identify tampering.

The dial, hands, crystal and buckle are all new. Most likely the parts are aftermarket and aren't actually Rolex made. The case is heavily polished. The watch is pretty but the current bid is already way too much for what you are getting.

Try to find listings that show the case back gasket area clearly to check for corrosion as well.

Thanks for the heads up. I will make sure for asking the right photos. Any reference pictures you might want to share ?

There are so many DJ’s out there especially on auctions.
They are pretty beaten up though. I wouldn’t mind a beaten up SUB but would love to have a clean DJ.

None that I have but plenty on the web. Just look up caseback pitting. The gasket expands and contracts with the temperature and sweat or salt water can create corrosion in the area where the gasket meets the case. This could cause the watch to not be waterproof.

Look at the bid quantity of his Rolex auctions. What a shill. Completely illegal

It's fair to say that this seller is widely suspected of this.
