The vampire with the steel or ceramic bezel? My point is there will be much tighter supply on new models going forward which should firm prices. If it was the ceramic, I got a buddy who would love to speak to you.

Dealers margin were cut last year, some dealers had AD status pulled. AP are trying to strengthen the residues and with less discounting and more controlled supply the secondary market will creep up. Maybe the previous gen 42’s will struggle a little against the new versions but as a whole the days of 30% discounting is long gone! Brands will always have a dog range etc but typically as a whole the popular models will follow Rolex and PP with being able to buy at retail is a discount! I can see the ceramic bezel 42’s being a hot item if I’m honest. |

Still no pic of the Ghost but monochrome get hands on the other one that missed the SIHH... we already saw the blue, green and grey accents ceramic RO tourbillon and now they reviewed one with the gold touch...

I was under the impression there has been some change to the four variants available on rubber strap as now there is just the single all black on ceramic bracelet listed?

Ans consider that this is the 44mm size, they would probably start to produce bracelet models on 44mm ROOs also... |

Now he didn’t clarify, as its now listed as 100 count if it’s to be 100 just in black or if they’ll be 25 of each colour and if just the way it’s advertised has been simplified! I wonder if the RO44 and ROO44 cases differ apart from the pushers?! Be interesting as like you said the ceramic bracelet could easily be moved over to the ROO but then also the new dual colour strap this RO44 was released on would give more strap variety to ROO44 owners, plus are the ceramic plots new or have other models used these before? |

It’s not entirely clear! I was under the impression it was shown at SIHH as a model on rubber strap and since then it been changed to one now being offered on bracelet.
However it does appear the strap models are still doing the rounds! |

Regarding 44 ROO fit, when I watched review of this model in sandblasted titanium, case and overall watch looked somehow smaller than ROO... don't know it is just optical illusion because of pushers... |

Wouldn’t it be funny if they named a watch a ghost and then it just never appeared?

42 ROO Ti 'Ghost'

Even more so is the Platinum ROC with smoke effect dial which went live on the site over SIHH and totally vanished! This one Case wise the RO44 is only 1mm thinner then the ROO Ali Bin Ali (13.2mm Vs 14.45mm) they both use the same movement 2936 yet it’s hand wound in the ROO and automatic in the RO (well that’s what the AP site states yet I thought the 2936 was manual wind only) Edit: AP site clearly wrong as I was correct it’s a manual wind) Also the RO44 only has 20m WR Vs 100m WR of the ROO44 |

AP confirmed for me you can buy a matching titanium bracelet for the Ghost. Model is BR.1000.003.TI-M.R and it costs $2,375. |

Are you trying to say that model number is for the old clasp? Otherwise your postings are making zero sense, as you keep talking about clasps as if there is some error here......

Here is the exact same model number but in steel with 'st' instead of 'ti'. I don't understand what you're trying to say, this model number obviously has the new clasp...

Purists are the minority and hence not money makers for them that’s why. I contacted the boutique regarding my ghost but they told me no exact eta yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Probably they have some kind of problem with grey ceramic bezel as it's first time they use it on any model... correct me if I'm wrong but the only grey ceramic parts actually seen on AP models is pushers on Japan boutique Diver...
