Up for sale is my 1967 Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 with meters first dial- The watch is in excellent, original and period correct condition overall and is keeping excellent time, winding smoothly and functioning just as it should. I have worn this piece in rotation, carefully, over the last 2 years that I’ve owned it. The movement is clean and has plenty of amplitude. Last serviced around 2011-2012.

Case: The 40mm case is in very good condition overall. I’ve tried taking pictures that accurately portray the condition of not only the case, but the watch overall, to the best of my ability. As can be seen in the pics, there are no major dings, dents or scratches in the case, bracelet or insert, just normal wear. Minor hairlines here and there but nothing crazy. This piece has been polished in its 51 years, which is to be expected, but carefully. The lugs are thick and even, with the chamfered edges still present. I personally have not had the piece polished in the 2 years I’ve owned it.

Crown: 700 Twinlock - As stated previously, the watch winds smoothly and sets as it should and the crown screws down nice and tight

Dial: The meters first dial is in excellent condition, exhibiting a beautiful and even creamy patina with ‘puffy’ lume plots. Free of any scratches or chipping. The hands match the dial perfectly, making this a truly gorgeous example. When exposed to UV light, the dial and hands glow, but only for a short period, which is correct.

Insert: The ‘long 5’ insert is in excellent condition, with its original tritium pearl, that has aged nicely to compliment the dial and hands. As can be seen in the pics there aren’t any major dings or scratches on the insert anywhere. There is a little mark right before the ‘50’ on the insert, which is how I received the piece. Other than that, it is in excellent condition.

Plexi Is in excellent condition.

Bracelet: 12 link Swiss rivet 7206 in excellent condition, with little stretch. 80 endlinks. Stamped 2 68. Clasp is in excellent condition as well.

Case back is stamped II.67
