Incoming dilemma poll!

Which one, or just be greedy? 50 piece Ti/Pt RO tourbillon or new Concept GMT?

Both watches are stunning but unless you intend to buy both anyway I’d go with the concept as the case design is significantly different to your other APs and you’ve previously stated the the updated case design is far more comfortable.

Thanks for the input. Concept redesign really makes it a great fit, finally.

Both are definitely awesome, but for you I think the concept is the way to go.

Concept for me and a no brainer now if the fit works it looks amazing!

Never been sold on the way AP cut the dial out for the tourbillion on these, considering how well the execute the cal 2924, 3132 and what’s in your custom a 2936 I feel they could of made a more pleasing partially opened dial.

Well this is a flying tourbillon I believe so more visible than other incarnations as they have removed the obstructive bridge.

I will choose concept over tourbillon.
Concept gives you more diversity to your AP collection, but if you are a classy guy ill go for tourbillon instead.

Not just the visible aspect as I know it’s not meant to be an openworked.

I just feel they could of made a more elaborate transition from dial to tourbillion rather then the raw cut open dial look, I know it’s a style they have carried on for a way and don’t get my wrong still looks amazing but feel they could of given it a bit more! Even the 26387/8’s with the cal 2933 have a polished lip to the dial cut outs which softens it a little.

Understood. I guess that is the more industrial look they wanted for the Concept pieces. I think there are element of the same design cues with the 25th anniversary tourbillon pieces which for me are too industrial even though I love the bezel/ pushers etc..

Considering your collection I will go for the concept... but instead of this one you suggested, you can probably source one of the Royal Oak Concept Selfwinding Tourbillon Openworked Chronograph...

Looking at one separately but there are only three of the version I want so not easy to track down, particularly if price sensitive!

Don’t have the precise pricing yet but I think it will be 300k ish.

For the grand complication I am looking at the Rose gold ceramic version.

I really like the concept for many of the same reasons as what people have stated already. I agree in the RO it would be nice to have a little more transition on the dial.

Concept - awesome choice.

Two amazing watches. Both is of course the best option but if only one, the Concept stands apart a bit more as unique. Great problem to have to think through.

No a fan of polished bezels. Would rather look at the full platinum toubillion RO with the smoke dial. It’s stunning.

Between the two; concept hands down.

Interesting. With diamond bezel or plain? Plain I assume? I have the matching 42mm full platinum smoke grey dial Offshore. Great dial for sure.

I voted for the RO but I’m not fond of either to be honest. Concept cases don’t do it for me and I never understood the allure of the Pt/Ti combo. That said congrats either way both very special APs
