5140p for me. Masculine sporty and incredible thinness all in one. Plus, platinum, and the blue colors will allow you to wear it with pretty much anything...

I personally prefer the 3940 style to the 5140 so this one is off my list. Besides, I tried the 5159J myself and loved it, it has a great presence on the wrist and looks incredible.

In my opinion 5140. The blue sings to me.

I like the slimness of the 5140 and the blue dial of the P version really stands out. The proportion and the thickness of the 5159 seemed a bit off to me, but it is still a nice watch. The retrograde date feature is a special feature of the 5159.

There is a 5140G on "the list" right now for an exceptionally low price, but I love the platinum version not the WG. If it were the platinum version at a near 40% off, I'd buy it...

Thank you Q!

BTW, your take on this timepiece is spot-on. All the niggles that people complain about e.g., too cluttered, too shiny, too blue, yada, yada disappear the second you put this watch on your wist.

Then it's just... AHHHH!!!!

It is interesting to me, and I'm guessing it is the color combos, but the WG version does look crowded to me compared to the Pt version (though not badly...).

I appreciate everyone responses. Trying to decide sometimes is a lonely job. The 5140P catches my eye and sticks. The dial has a lot going on and somehow remains pure. IT is next on my list! Thanks.

A vote for the 5159 here. I've always liked that reference, but wish it'd be a little larger.

The 5140 it's too small at 37mm!? And too much going on the dial for its size?

Seems like the 5159 isn't very popular.
