Which bronze is better?
There are bronze watched from primarily Tudor, Oris and Panerai. Do they age similarly or there's big difference between them?

Panerai 671 .Very easy to keep looking like new .
Sprite Zero and few drops lemon juice .Immerse for 15 min . Looks like new ! Panerai bronze when it sparkles is just beautiful ! I wouldn't wait till its green from oxidation . Some wearers like the patina, dull look ,I dont . Tried it with a dealers IWC ,which was already blackish .looked better ,but would need to be repeated a few times ,before it got the original look . Of all the bronze watches ,I think Panerai's metal is the nicest looking by far . |

I never understood the liking for Bronze, it stains your wrist, stinks and oxidation seems like fungus growing on your watch...

To answer your points : Mine doesn’t stain my wrist. I was in 40 degree heat in Dubai last month and no stain. Mine doesn’t stink. If you smell a bronze watch then you have the nose of a Cocker Spaniel. It’s a bit like saying to someone I can smell the metal coins in your pocket. My patina doesn’t look like fungus. If you don’t like it you can get rid of it in about 1 hour. I love it. Very different to the 20 or so steel of gold watches I have. Open your horizons, lay off the YouTube videos and you never know, you may be surprised. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Each watch from Tudor or Panerai will be different, never mind from different brands. From what I know the Tudor bronze patinas more in a brown colour. Panerai more green. This is due to what the manufacturer mixes into the metal. They will all patina and it great fun watching it. If you fancy cleaning it, it’s easy and takes about 1 hour. There is a difference no doubt in the metal compositions, I have a number of Bronze watches but none patina as well as the Oris. Wish more watch companies offered this special alloy!

This is my only bronze watch. I don’t wear it as much as i should, it’s really a great watch.
Have thought about adding another from CW but don’t think it get much wrist time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
