A highway patrol officer stopped a car that was traveling extra
slowly on the freeway.
"Sister, the speed limit on this freeway is 65 MPH," he said to
the habited nun who was driving. "You were going 22 miles per hour."
"I'm sorry, officer, but we thought we saw a lot of signs that had
'22" on them," replied the nun.
"Those indicate the highway number," the officer pointed out.
As he turned away, he noticed three nuns in the back seat who were
pale and shaking.
"Sisters, is anything wrong?"
"Oh, no thank you officer. We just got off Highway 127."
