A Mistake Corrected

Well, maybe not a mistake, but this sits and feels so much better than the coaxial 57 it replaced.

Don't think I can add anything that hasn't already be said.

This might also be the best watch box/presentation I've ever seen.

Goodman.

IMHO, one of the 3 best watches available today.

Awesome, you did it! Good move!

I had a similar journey to the Pro. I had two different models of Speedmaster before I finally arrived at the Professional, and as soon as I put it on my wrist I realized that it was the one I should have had all along.

Thanks guys.

I've been wearing it since I got it and it just feels right.

Size is pretty much perfect and seems to wear small for a 42mm.

Still have the deployant I was using with the 57 and those straps as well. Lucked out that they are both 20mm. Can also start using natos which I couldn't with the 57 due to the thickness.

Things may change as they often due, but right now this seems like the only chrono I might ever need or want.

Our hobby is full of rollercoaster ride of emotion - from persistence to frustration to despair to elation to remorse and to full satisfaction.

Glad you found full satisfaction on the moonwatch.

Very nice. Check on the olive green nato from Hodinkee and the lumberjack brown vintage leather straps from bulang and son. Both are magic on that watch.

Thanks to the guys in the other thread for the advice about changing the clasp.

Stopped by the boutique today and picked up some parts and a nato. They also gave me some curved spring bars to use with the nato. A little odd considering the extras that come in the package are straight.

As always the boutique staff was fantastic and omega as brand because they enable you to make mods for a better experience.

Clasp is a bargain for $110. Kind of ridiculous it's so cheap. Guess they make up for it with a $160 nato

Blue with grey edge nato.

Looks pretty good on blue.

Always thought that was one of the cooler "big box" sets for a watch in recent times and the watch is not shabby either . Enjoy!!

Beautiful watch

Why didn’t you like the coaxial 57?

The thickness started to bother me.

Plus with the straight lugs I was starting to feel that it wore a little too big for my wrist.

It kept great time, but I guess tastes change over time. I’m started to prefer thinner and smaller watches. Even though the moon watch is 0.5mm larger on paper, it wears much smaller.
