Omega Dynamic 3rd generation... Buy or not?

This gentleman is selling this omega that belonged to his father in law and is asking $450.. Has no box or papers and strap not original... Buy or not? Looks to have alittle lume missing on the hour marker... He says his not into watches so just wants to sell...

I've always liked those Omega Dynamics, especially with that matching date font. For $450 I don't think you'll go too wrong, but figure on at least that much to service it and get new hands if you want them.

It was just serviced March 2018... The hands is starting to flake I guess from the old tritium lume and the hands starting to yellow... Which I'm liking the patina look... movement is all original and runs perfect... He sold it to me for $200 can't beat that... Im going to get a leather brown NATO strap...

That's a good buy. I just recently purchased one for more than double that, although I have the original steel band. They're not easy to find & most prices are $1,000 & up from my searches. It wears so much different than my 1680 Submariner ... in a good way.

Awesome! They usually go for at least a grand, so you got a very, very good deal. I'm a big fan of them on brown leather too!

Great buy! I love those Dynamics. I had the chrono version back in the day, when I see them now they remind me of my early days of watch collecting.
