Speedmaster Pro panda dials

After 30+ years of serial watch buying, I somehow skipped over the Speedy Pro until just a couple months ago and I am mildly addicted already. I picked up a NIB Pro and was then reading as much as I could about them.
That led me to the Mitsukoshi dial mod and I sourced the dial and handset which are getting scarcer every day. I got my watch swapped over last week and although I love the standard black dial the new white panda dial with silver handset is stunning. I know there have been several white and white panda dial variations but the only reverse panda I’m aware of is the recent Speedy Tuesday. Have there been any others in the past?

I'm no expert but what I gathered from reading about the Mitsukoshi Omega, is that there were only 300 original watches sold by Mitsukoshi retail store with the panda dial. Those watches would be really rare to find so it's no wonder that there is a dial to comemorate it.

I know there are few variations of the panda dial that Omega has brought out that I've seen on Watchbase.com which is great resource for Omega's and Rolex's. I don't know of any other panda dials besides the Mitsukoshi's that people are swapping out for.

As a side note, I am currently wearing this watch which I just got a few months back and love. I love the panda dial look. Poor mans PN Rolex Daytona.

I came across a Fratellowatches blog post today that answered my question. There have been several all white and white/black panda dial versions of the Speedy Pro but the Speedy Tuesday from last year was the first black/white. There was also a Gemini IV limited in 2005 with a blue dial with white subs that I'd never seen mentioned before.

I’ve seen this pic before (your watches?). What’s the story on the TT yellow dial? That’s a very different look.

$750 for dial and handset from a US Ebay seller, $175 including tax for the watchmaker to make the swap. The dials have to be getting scarce as Omega will no longer sell them directly. The parts were OEM in their original sealed packages.

The two tone Speedmaster Professional DD145.0022, that yellow dial, spectacular...the blue sub-dial Panda is another fantastic reference.

Sheesh, can't go down this wormhole.....again!

Yes my watches. The 2 tone is a special edition from early 80s in DD 1450022. I find this bird very unique and wear mostly on strap.
