I like the two tone models myself. I am currently lusting after this beauty which I find funny because I am likely one of the few who has no interest in the Daytona C models.

Thank you, yes I really love this Watch & the contrast of the White MOP & Diamonds when the sun catches it is beautiful. The photos don't do justice to this Watch

Thank you, yes it is very special to me, the photo don't really do this Dial justice. It is breathtaking to see it up close when the sun catches it

This Watch is beautiful. I had this very Model in 2017 which I thought I was content with. But passing a local Rolex AD in my City I just had a look at what was on display & saw the T/T Daytona with the White MOP 8 Diamonds Dial & was completely blown away by it, at that moment I knew I wanted this Model. That is doing no disservice to the White Dial with the Gold Sub Dials. It was just my personal preference

As you say I looked at both full gold and TT on this one. The TT was really better looking on this model. Normally an all PM wins.

Totally agree, bi-colors perfectly match with tt. Full gold did not make that bezel pop that much and create un even color combine and design in this model. My 2 cents

Although good, the vast majority of buyers prefer tool watches to be in SS. The extra cost of the TT is significantly more than the extra cost of the gold, and keep in mind that they generally have the exact same movements as their SS counterparts.

If I wanted a TT I would buy a Datejust.

Lol I love this answer! :)

BTW imo many TTs are better looking than their ss counterparts.

100% this. I’ve thought this a few times while looking recently. If you are worried over losing a grand here and there, don’t spend 10 on a bloody watch in the first place. You’ll be better off lobbing it off your mortgage.

On the TT argument. I had one and they are not for me. They always seem to look better on other people. If you can rock it and like it there’s for sure some good value to be had.

I reckon that Rolex are effectively phasing out ss watches, and TT / PM will be the new standard. If you want ss, you have to buy Tudor

That'll mean ss will be better investment due to their rarity in years to come

The two tone Daytona is stunning. I have to laugh when people call these "tool" watches. Most families could eat well for a while for what these watches cost.
