Rolex Tracker

This looks like a good idea, but I wonder how many owners are using it. Seems like its value would be directly related to the size of its database. https://rolextracker.com/en/

The guy in the picture doesn't even have a watch on.

You just can't trust a guy like that.

I don't care if he is on vacation.

Garbage in; garbage out. It it's not affiliated with Rolex and tracking all the inventory, then it's worthless.

Hah.. no watch.. nice! The domain is registered to some guy in Montevideo, Uraguay. Yeah the only people that will know my serial number will be me, my insurance company and Rolex when they service it.

Lol you guys make me laugh!
OK let's see what we are talking about:
1) Is this a legit company? Yes, I checked the company background and it's ok. We have the owners name, address, etc.
2) Is it a scam? I believe it's not. Why? Simple, the site was bought to go daddy in 2009 and is online since then (anyone can check this as I did it's all in the net). How could a scammer have a site working for 5 years????????
3) Is there a risk using the site? Economic risk? Mmmmm I guess no, they only accept paypal so they don't handle your credit card info nor bank account. Safety risk?mmm no, you can use fake info when you register the only real data would be your email.
4)wow they would have my serial number so they could use it in fake copy Rolex! Come on what would that affect your watch? Your watch is original and has the original number, they have counterfeit Rolex! They could use random numbers and it could be your serial number! And what with that? Does that affect your watch?
5) Mostly of the Rolex tracker users are people that report there stolen Rolex so where can you see a risk to register and give them your stolen watches serial number??????
Guys please don't be paranoid with serial numbers as you had the coca cola chemical formula and every one wants to know it!!!!!
OK, now I agree in the point that it depends on how many users register the stolen watches.
Would I use it? Yes, if I had one of my Rolex stolen I would for sure. Would I register all my watches in the site? Don't know, maybe but I haven't done it yet and that site has been online for 6 years so I guess that is an answer.
