Congratulations on your great looking new D-blue! They look more balanced since the bracelet width and case lugs were adjusted to provide a smoother taper with the case. Great watch if you can pull it off, which you seem to do. Enjoy and wear it in good health. Cheers!

Really want to try one on having heard a lot of good but some say way to heavy. I got the SD43 about three months ago and just love it fits great. hopefully, I will get the chance soon I have a 7.75 to 8 inch wrist depending on the weather.

I had limited experience with the old one but from what I recall and everything I've read the sum of changes of the new one are meaningful.

I had the SD43 and my personal experience is that this wears better due to the case back. The SD43 had a narrow tall case back that seemed to "pivot" on my wrist and made it odd to wear. DeepSea has a much flatter case back so on my wrist it fits well. In my opinion if you like wearing the SD43 you will very likely like wearing this as well. I have a 7.25" wrist so from a wrist size perspective it will be great.
