Tudor Black Bay

Really loving it but wondering if the "58" with a 39mm diameter is best to own. I don't want more than one Tudor in my collection. I haven't seen the smaller version "in-person".

7.25inch wrist. Personally I found it too small. But could be because I am used to larger or could be wrist size or could be just personal preference.

I preferred the 79230N over the 58. You just have to see it in person to know

Best thing you can do is try on, but I love the size and heft of the 41.

58 far and away on another level if you like classics.

PS I also owned the BB BLACK in 41

Stick with the 41 - looks great on your wrist. I think you may miss the size and heft of the 41 if you move to the 58. What is your wrist size?

Well, you're talking about two great watches. I wouldn't make a move from what you've got unless you can try them on back to back and see which one you like the best.

We can talk until we're blue in the face, but that's the only thing that's going to matter.

I'm a "one watch" guy - I wear the same watch every day. I've had my 41mm for a month now. I wear it 24/7 except for my shower in the morning. It's fantastic in every way. I find that like it's size and heft. It keeps near-perfect time (it's lost 2 seconds over the past week).

I found it too small for a diver when I tried it, 7.3 wrist.

It really depends on what you want out of the watch. I am currently selling my 41 red because I end up wearing it a lot with dress shirts and its really thick. That being said, I have a 7.5" wrist and the 39, while gorgeous looked awfully small on me in person.

I might just own two Tudor watches! Just measured. I have 7 inch wrist. So anything 38-42mm should fit well with me. Can't wait to see it in person.

I think this mostly comes down to wrist size plus how you prefer your watches.

With a 6 3/4 inch wrist, my BB58 fits perfect at 39mm. However, the 41 in both diameter, case thickness and lug to lug is just that much bigger that it’s out of the question for me.

Some people are like the bigger size case with their smaller wrist. But I personally do not like the large floppy look or lugs extending past my wrists. But again that’s just me.

I took my BB S&G into my ad to compare it with a BB58 they had. I decided the BB58 was nice, but redundant. No need for either a swap or addition. I have 7 3/4 round wrists, and happily wear anything between 34mm and 44mm in diameter..

Wrist size aside, holding both the 58 and standard BB, you'll be surprised by how different in size they are. Huge difference.

Loving my BB58. It is getting the most wrist time of all my watches right now. Comfortable and perfect size.

7.5” wrist, 41 mm for me. But I’m used to watches this size.

My ETA was bought new in 2012 and has never been serviced. I just threw it on the machine and it's still putting up really impressive numbers (loses about 1 sec on the wrist, not 3 as shown). I'm quite tempted to turn it in for a BB58 but there's just something about the original . . .
