Incoming - My First Rolex!
Hello all,
A few of you had helped me in my previous thread about whether or not the secondary dealer I was buying from sounded legitimate etc. Needless to say, my worries were unfounded they were fantastic and the watch is beautiful. It is everything that I wanted and a wonderful entry into the world of Rolex... I bought it yesterday and I've been using an app called 'Twixt' on my phone to track the accuracy... well now within 24 hours it's lost / gained 0.00 seconds. Long may this continue! AD card signed and dated the 24th of December 2018 so it's almost brand new, it even had all the stickers in place... wow there were a lot. I was quite sad and saved them and placed them on a bit of paper.. haha! Thank you everyone for all your input and help, I really appreciate it. Anyway without further ado pictures: (taken over the two day period of ownership thus far!) gl |

You picked a heck of a way to start. That was one of my favorites before going full PM!

Thanks guys for all the kind words...
The only negative I have is the bracelet is a little stiff on the clasp. You know where the hinge is? Is that normal, perhaps it will become looser with time, but you really have to "force" it, it never feels like its bad for the watch, just stiff you know? Very happy with it and it really feels like I've spent 10k on a watch... some of the watches. For example the Datejusts were on my radar and they look lovely... but they don't feel like a 10k watch... this does. No regrets! Just maximum enjoyment, it's beautiful! The adjustable clasp is fantastic too... I'm altering it throughout the day and its so useful. |
