real or fake Deepsea

hi guys,

standard deepsea is certainly not my area of expertise, and I m fairly sure I know the answer already given the way in which this has been presented to me......but learned guys and girls, owner swears blind its real, with no box or papers and before I make the journey thought I d check on here!

not the best of pictures I realise, but best I have.

real or fake.....?

thanks in advance

Technology in 2020 makes it extremely hard to tell on the outside.
They have Super Clones that if you look on you tube and see the side by side.
I personally would not buy it.

Haha. Open 6 made me laugh. Just imagine in some Chinese factory the guy building this runs out of date wheels and reaches into another box of parts and pulls out the first thing he finds. Mmmm, that will do, close enough, lol!!

If I had any doubts I wouldn’t be risking buying any Rolex.

I’m no expert but that is a clear fake, the font on all the text doesn’t look right. The case shape looks off as well.

How do you really know if a Rolex is fake, the pictures above do look poor to be fair, but what is a 100% way of knowing...?

Take it to a RSC and ask them for a service quote.

You wont get it back.

You can't just look at your D Blue and see the difference (dial color aside)?

A coworker picked up a known replica DBlue. The dial, hands, and date wheel were horrible...but the bracelet and glidelock clasp were scary good.

Firstly, yes it’s fake.

Secondly, regardless of whether or not it was fake, would you really want to wear this monstrosity! If someone had Rolex had a brain-fart and produced a model like that, I’d really like to hope that nobody would want one!!
