Looks like I’m going to be priced out of the Patek game very soon at this rate...

I’m glad I got my Calatrava in December, I’m out from now on, luckily I just got this.

If they have any sense they will release some hot models the day of the price increase.

Hmmmm... Interesting speculation. I mean they already released a few new models this year, but that doesn't stop them for releasing more.

They discontinued the white dial Nautilus so a replacement for that should be in the works, black would be historically correct and will be a great hit, two tone would look fantastic with the latest model, especially in Rose gold

Sorry missed this - so pretty hefty rises for the UK.

Hefty all over, if you ask me.

The US got crushed.

I have to believe the grey market bubble has something to do with it.

I miss the days when Patek was a great value, and when people cared less about value because a lot were achievable below MSRP.

The US price rise is quite high... Fortunate to pick up one of the new Rolex releases recently but would have rather gotten the Patek allocation before this increase as the difference is literally the stainless steel Rolex cost. I'm surprised with the much fewer incomings leading up to this...I'm guessing releases will come after this...

4 to 5% for dress, 8 to 10% for sports.

I was told that lot of the price rise stems from an increase in material prices and more specifically gold.

Still doesn't explain why steel watches are also going up so much.

I agree, sounds like bull, I think you will have the price rise and then a sudden influx of Nautilus and Aquanaut watches.

Yeah I'm guessing that will be the case. Has been very quiet on here recently with new incoming posts and I expect many incoming a bit after the price increase happens.

Just looking at the price of a new Aquanaut vs mine, the real price has doubled over twenty years... that’s double the price, adjusting for inflation.

That’s nuts, though not surprising. Inflation figures have been artificially low - whether by accident or by design, it’s been pushed into areas that aren’t tallied.

Only 5% increase for the Aquanaut in Switzerland, I guess the currency exchange rate and the strength of the CHF played a role.

Yep, just saw that... I'm really disappointed I wasn't able to get the watches I want before the price increase. Now they will cost almost $10k more :(. But oh well... that's life I suppose... More motivation to hustle harder.

@pav333hp I feel your pain! I was hoping to get a 5712 or 5212 before the price hike. Just pure crazyness my AD told me today their Patek inventory has been cut in half with sport models and their demand is triple the amount even during this covid lockdown. He even bluntly told me if your a new collector just getting into timepieces this is the worse time period. Only established local clients are getting their timepieces.

Yeah, I had a similar discussion with my AD and he said demand for Nautilus, especially the 5711, is highest he has ever seen. He has some big spenders $500k+ who he can't fulfill because they are only getting a few 5711s allocated for the entire year. The demand for 5711 is not slowing down ANY time soon apparently.

Additionally, few other ADs I've talked to told me they are having record year, Rolex and Patek demand is insane and selling out faster than they can get inventory.

5% up on hot models in Spain.

Not bad comparing with other locations.

The US price hike is just mad... like really, they have to put into consideration the financial situation of many if not most caused by the pandemic.

I think the "normalisation" of the price of J vs. G/R is a direct consequence of the current high gold price. Not sure what justified the difference in price, but assume that WG / RG alloys contain more costly metals (for the non Gold part) than YG and/or are harder to machine / polish.
