Ref. 7234G-001
This success is underpinned by the launch of the new mid-size Ref. 7234G-001 Calatrava Pilot Travel Time in white gold. As a medium-sized version the Ref. 7234G Calatrava Pilot Travel Time has a diameter of 37.5 mm to fit women’s and men’s wrists.

I think this one will sell well.

I love the 5524 but it's too big for me. the 7234 is in rose gold, but I'm mostly a white metal person....until now!

Will add this to my collection in the future :)

This is a winner in my book!
5524 wear far too big on me for what I want from a Patek (yes yes, my Panerai is huge, but it is a Panerai :) )

Nice piece but expensive for what it is. Not sure if it will sell well at this price.

The 7234A is the better watch in my book. More robust, stainless steel, limited edition, and can be had for rather a little less preowned. Yet the 7234A doesn't seem to fly off the shelves of grey dealers.

Pumped to try this on.

The 42mm did not look good on my small wrist. At all.

The price is slightly over 10% of the current price 7234R over here. This is a hefty increase indeed !

Oh snap. This is the perfect PP Pilot for me! Considered buying the Singapore LE at a premium, but I'm really digging this one. That MSRP however, is getting out of hand IMO.

Agreed. Didn’t realize travel time > AC in price

I don't dislike this family of watches from PP, but in the Pilot department there are better choices/brands, imo.

the 5524R is really a great piece. Now there are 4 options depending on your preference for size and white v. rose gold. Kind of a fun piece if you can get your significant other in a matching piece....

Interesting that the 7234R still says for women but this one says men and women.

The problem I saw with the R version was the taper was too thin at the clasp for a man to wear. That watch was clearly designated as a ladies watch. This watch is for both so maybe less taper at the clasp.

I didn't get that impression when I tried it on, but I also have smaller wrists that tend to be on the last or 2nd to last strap hole anyway. Felt very comfortable on the wrist.

It's frankly too expensive. These already tank on the grey market at the pre-increase price. The only justification I can think of is that they wanted to increase the 5164R by double-digits due to demand, and felt they needed to bring these up too (same metal & movement).

20% off MSRP and no sales tax and it’s still expensive but Patek is supposed to be expensive. And it’s a ladies watch. Pilot watches are supposed to be large.

Hodinkee suggests that the watch will be sold with both the navy blue and brown calfskin straps. I will buy it if not for the 7234a which my wife already has.

Any idea of the lug to lug measurements of this watch? I have been searching but can't find it anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

Patek website confirms it definitely sold with both navy blue and brown calf skin straps

Well...I think 10% price increase coincides pretty well with the most recent adjustments PP just made. In fact if you read the latest price list in this very forum, you will see they are the same.

There might be a market-driven delta (based on demand for RG vs WG) but the retail from PP on the two 7234 versions will remain very similar I think.

I had the privilege to handle the new 7234G with some hands-on while paying a visit to my SE.

The white gold case is simply exquisite and so well made. Anyone who is interested should really try it out.

For the size, it fits a 6.6 inch wrist very well.

This look really good on the wrist. Although, I will buy something else in that price range.
