5513 bezel

Can anyone help with an original bezel for a 1974 5513 milsub.

You might want to clarify.
Do you mean help describing or confirming an authentic one, or help with finding you/selling you an authentic one?

finding an original is near impossible at this point, likely will have to settle for a standard sub insert

Are you looking for the bezel or insert? Bezels are available, someone correct me if I wrong but I think it’s the standard 5513-5512-1680 bezel. The inserts pop up from time to time but last time I saw them, they were $30k each.

unfortunately for you, plenty are lined up waiting to pay more than that I imagine.

they had service inserts for them up until around 2006. not any longer unfortunately. you can get some pretty decent replica ones though

Thanks , I thought that it was hard to get. I wondered if anyone with broken watches sold parts but it looks unlikely. The bezel Rolex fitted looks ok .

could we have some pictures of your watch?

you do know the value of these things right? last one at auction just brought like $215k usd and apparently it was a bargain granted it was all original

Yes thanks I can try to add pictures. I am thinking of selling at an auction in Geneva sometime in November. The advice was not to bother trying for the bezel as its not going to be the original anyway but I had to try.

The OP, not you.

You hijacked the thread to show off your 5513.

Milsub = Military Submariner
